.....you have, by chance, hit on one of my favourite subjects...

Coughing....

Now, coughing is a peculiarity of the human condition that can be triggered by so many causes.....

There are 'Social' / 'Politesse' reasons..

There are Bronchial reasons..

There are Gastric reasons..

There are Medication Reaction reasons...Ramipril for instance.

There is my own 'Gag Reaction'...don't laugh..I gag after I clean my teeth..I gag after I wash my hair...I gag after extubation after an operation.

When I was about 13 years old I nearly drowned at my local swimming pool...the Attendant bollocked me for being 'so stupid' , being a weak swimmer..

This was when I was fished out of the pool and pumped out next to the pool..

Our relationship with the act of swallowing is vital to how we ,..as Humans,..understand how we function...

How many of PM Club Members have issues around swallowing...??

Just a thought

right there with you, on the swallowing, sometimes when swallowing it feels like everything stops at the back of the throat and becomes very painful to swallow.

Even trying to drink is uncomfortable to get it to move along and even the first few drinks afterwords.

often times this causes a gag reflex also.
