Hello All,
I received a Fitbit Charge HR for Christmas and want to know if it will interfere with my Medtronic BiVentricular pacemaker?
Any help will be appreciated.

I have Fitbit Charge HR and have used since ICD implant 10 weeks ago with no problem.
Do not believe it is the most accurate when comes to monitoring whilst exercising and as you will note the display is rather small and not a constant readout.
So I decided to get another, a Mio Alpha2 which comes with large readout and apparently very good accuracy. Bought online as not available in Singapore, arrived and works great BUT unfortunately the charging is done by USB but the watch attaches to the cable with magnets situated on back of watch. Biotronik have advised OK to use BUT keep at least 6 inches away from ICD. Now a little wary of using in case I want to scratch my shoulder etc!!
You know you're wired when...
You always run anti-virus software.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.

None of the HR monitors with cause a problem with a pacemaker.
And the Fitbit Charge HR uses LED's in the wrist band with senses the changes as the blood pulses in arm.
