Chiropractic Pro adjuster

My chiropractor uses an electronic, computerized device called a "Pro adjuster". I can't seem to find out if this is compatible with my pacemaker,

Unless it has magnets and will be used on the torso, it's ok. Muscle stim is the only thing most of them use that we need to beware of. That should be limited to extremities.

Looking at the web page for one unit it appears to apply mechanical percussion along segments of the spine and measure the response.

But I am not sure and it appears that others might be difference.

IF IT IS JUST PERCUSSION then it should not be a problem unless the forces are high, but depending on the rate and force and how close it is to the pacemaker it might trigger the rate response giving you a higher than normal heart rate.

But as I said the details are not clear and there are other types.

Best to have you chiropractor contact the company and get details of their system and if they have any information about it related to pacemakers.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
