Had a pacemaker implanted in September, 2016. Everything was fine until late December. I was riding on top of a Swamp buggy when it hit quite a bump. I could feel something then like the pacemaker was picking up speed. It took two weeks to get back to almost normal. After this I can't sit in a normal chair or recliner without a small bit of pressure in my chest and pressure in my head although not enough to cause a head ache but certainly mild discomfort. Feels a bit like when they speed your pacemaker up durng testing. I have been to the clinic twice where they took x-rays and adjusted the pacemaker. The condition stayed the same. This was in January. I will go back late this month. I have thought about a possible insulation fracture. Sounds strange but anyone had anything close. Your responces are appreciated.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
Anyone?

It is so hard to describe what we are feeling, and what we worry about without sounding a bit neurotic when we go to the clinic. You've had it checked out. And you may, like me, be focusing on it a bit too much (really hard not to). I'm going back next week, and my daughter is going with me, for the sole purpose of making me ask the things I don't want to "bother" my doctor with when I go for the regular check. Things like how much I worry about the device and it's proper functioning and the dizziness, and palpitations I regularly feel.
