Pacemaker box

Went to have pacemaker taken out and put in New pocket. Cardio said he didn't want to operate because there was a haematoma under pacemaker and that it would cause infection.   Sent home and see doc in month. Now I am worried about this, he didn't say how it will go, or what I should do anyone had similar
