Teaching

Hi All!

I am a nurse in the ICU--I also have a biventricular pacer (for 10 yrs) and have gone through many complications along the way. Since I have been having a smooth couple of years I wanted to reach out to everyone to see if I taught classes (since I am a RN with a PM) about very basics anatomy/physiology, to cardiac meds, to HF (I have been in HF) what would you think would be valuable? This would be no cost to the community and can be ANYTHING cardiac related as I have a depth of knowledge. What do you think? What would think would have helped you?

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
