I wanted to say thank you to all of you who responded to my post. it really made me think about it and what really happened.
So i feel it was innapropriate because my left breast was fullly exposed and i dont see a need to touch it. my pacer isnt behind it or anything. plus this was after the tech guy hooked me up to patched and the computer thingy. I'm scared to go back to him (my doc) also because when I left his hand grazed my butt. After the long awkward hug . . .
but thank you for the input, I know next time to be a bit more care with this doc. or at least make sure my mom and dad are in the room because when they are in there the doc only shakes my hand and acts completley different.
anyway, thank u and good luck to all with your pacers

having everything
by jessie - 2007-08-14 01:08:01
we don't need everything to be happy. sometimes the ones who look like they have everythng of course as my story goes have nothing. that whole family were destroyed over this man's bad behavior. why would he feel he had that right? in his case he was raised to believe women have no rights and so not surprizingly he acted on that. in his case his wife was white canadian born. he was not. he has to live with it now and his children. not something i would want. there are times in our lives we hurt people as it is not being able to stop this behavior at the time such as an addiction. that doesn't usually involve things like this. so yes these people need to be stopped deadin their tracks. how dare he????????jessie

we had a doctor in our community who lost privileges at our hospital because he grabbed the ob nurses all the time and also the nursing mothers he was treating. well he can never go back to the hospital. he still sees kids in his office for adhd , counselling etc. hi wife was a nurse and threw him out. she returned to nursing and sadly enough drowned in the lake in front of her house several years later. they had four lovely children.people like this need to be stopped in their tracks. it is the fear of doctors that stops them. believe me i grew up in a time when doctors were considered gods jessie
Are you a child?
by pacergirl - 2007-08-14 08:08:17
Dear AmyJean..... If you are underage.... this changes everything.
Please, please tell your parents! NOW!! Today! They will handle this for you. That is why they go to the Dr. with you is to protect you and help where they can. I wouldn't allow anyone to harm my child and if I need to I will call the medical board where you live. As a fellow pacer and a woman I will do what I can. No one should have to deal with this, especially a child! This really angers me!! Tell your parents. Give them the chance to help you first. The Dr. should be dimissed!!!!
If you wait a second more it would be the wrong thing to do. Let the people who can help you know about it!!!

Age

AmyJean-
I was also wondering about your age because that (in a way) changes a lot of things.
Oh, Jessie...that's unbelieveable. It's so frustrating to think that people who are in position to help people would take advantage like that.

WAY out of line.
by hooimom - 2007-08-14 12:08:04
AmyJean,
Okay, any of those things alone are bad enough but put them together and that is just totally inappropriate. Take your parents, the nurse and a can of Mace!

Oh my!

Good one, Jessie!
You had me laughing so hard there for a minute that I thought pee would be streaming down my leg! ha ha Sorry for the visual!
But on a serious note...if you can switch doctors, I would seriously consider it a viable option. Nurse or parent in the room or not...this guy is out of line. I can imagine you not feeling at all comfortable. I wouldn't and I wouldn't stand for it either. But definitely don't see him in the room alone! My husband is always in the room with me for any appointment regardless.
I can't remember all of your old post...so I'll have to go reread it...but there are upstanding doctors out there who aren't preying on their patients. Did you speak with your folks about this?
What a sicko!
Happier pacing-

when you return with your parents for the appt. ask also for a nurse in the room and then proceed to say to him i was very uncomfortable when you touched my breast and butt during my appt. with you. this man is a coward and he will stop dead in his tracks with this confrontation. then you ask him to refer you to someone else as you can't possibly return to a doctor who is so toxic as a human being. then if you are having any immediate difficulty tell him to deal with it please as you need that immediate help. then leave his office smiling and waving and i can guarantee you the pee will be running down his legs. lol lol also mention that you have documented both visits and that on the second on you have witnesses. lol lol
