Hello everyone, Hoping everyone had a great holiday. Getting confused again, Now being paced at 70 percent from 60. Was hospitalized and diagnosed with POTS and atrial tachycardia and placed on metropopol and colander. Nearly able to walk 20 feet without heart racing and sob. Has anyone experienced this, or can tell me what is possibly occurring. Also on Eliquis twice a day . Thanks everyone and have a Happy New Years๐๐๐

Eliquis is associated with some of the symptoms you describe.
You need to talk to your doctor. Do not stop any medication unless on medical advice
Corlandor/ivabradine ( rather than the veg. prep. aid!) is used to help heart failure. Some of your symptoms are in keeping with this.
Do you have POTS and HEART FAILURE.?
The use of metoprolol itself would mean you need more ventricular pacing.
Better talk with your doctor.
Thanks for your best wishes and, best wishes to you all for a healthy New Year.

Hi, I also have POTS which they call dysautonomia and diastolic failure with pacemaker for too low of heart rate and proponolol for high heart rate. There are better meds for it but it affects asthma severely. I understand what you are living with. If you ever want to private chat with someone who lives it and perserveres I am happy to chat! Life is hard but life is good and precious! Feel better....

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.

Not sure what question you are asking.
Are you feeling better?
