Who would of thought.....

Looking back on my life I was so happy growing up. A very grateful kid to the simplest things. I remember waking up early in the summer mornings. I used to get up and help my Nana with the farm ( May she rest in peace). Working and playing for 10 to 12 hours straight. Not ever worrying about my heart. I used to play all the sports as a kid. Having a heart of a lion and never stopping for anything but a drink to continue my adventures of happiness. Who would of thought in my later years of life I would have needed a pacemaker; or have all the complications I've had. I know that many of you have in someway have had a very active life style as well. Should we take a page from our past and rewrite our lives over again, absolutely not! In many ways our lives could of been different if we hadn't received this pacemaker, but, in another view of things it has refreshed our minds of those simple things we once remembered.
Who would of thought we would make it this far. There were times I placed my soul in a box and was getting ready to ship it to heaven, but the Lord would not sell me any stamps. I remembered sitting my kids down and telling them so much about heaven, just incase I didn't make it. I wanted them to know of a greater place then the one we're at now. My faith has stiffened the waters of suffering that I may reach out to the hand of my Lord. Here we are in 2008 and my heart is still beating. Maybe it's not that lion's heart it once was, but at least it's still the heart my Lord has given me. He has my heartbeats numbered and I'm praying that He keeps counting them for many years to come. I'm challenging you to make a pledge. When the clock reaches 12:00 will you leave your worries in 2007. Let's renew our hearts and minds as we invite a new year of perfect heartbeats.

I know many of you are suffering and need a word of hope. Maybe just to hear someone say your going to be okay will give you a uplifting spirit. I want to tell each and everyone of you that our lives are not over and there are great things to come. Keep your spirits up and don't ever give up on your life. There are good things coming to you this coming new year. Let's keep the prayer lines open for one another.
Happy New Year!

I couldn't agree with you more. Leave our burdens to the Lord. God has many plans for us all in 2008. Please learn to trust in Him and continue to pray for everyone and everything we do. I have had more than my share of miracles so keep your faith strong in good and tough times.
Happy New Year!
