For the ones of you, that has flowwed up with me on my heart condition and problems with no medical care in cardiology has really been a rough road.
Well, the area I live in In Alaska, got a Guardian Angel, He is a Cardiologist from Idaho....He start seeing patients by referrals this week.
My internist actually set it up for me to see him and I so far now don't have to go to Seattle Washignton a 5 hour flight to get care........
First off, this Cardiologist is WONDERFUL. My husband and I met him yesterday......
He has never met me until yesterday, so he had NO CLUE about me........ Now with just us talking and the exam he did, he lifted opefully alot of weigh off my chest, as form of speaking to say..........lol He told us that, No one ever went the right approach to why I'm having the heart problems I'm having and No one has ever sat down and told us in real medical wors whats going on.
1. I do have a Form of CHF, but, I have Diastolic Heart Failurer. I told him anyone said Well ' Elisa, your injection fraction is good u have all signs of CHF, but its a false call her......I've heard stories i cuz my body retaining fluid my self I heard that I was weird and all signs are there but No I dont have CHF, but then this REAL CARDIOLOGIST comes from another part of the USA and looks at me and saids NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD U, YOU HAVE THE TYPE OF CHF, The Diastolic, I burst in tears look at my husband and said NO>>>>
He shook his head and just didn't say a word...........Then he said has anyone EVER told you , look we need to do a Artiery renal kidney ultersound? I said No wha tthe heck is that?
Well, he took the time explain to my husband and I that, all thesigns are there that, I may have blockage in the artery to the Kidney.... And he feels that, is why my BP is so darn out of control.............Oh I do have Varient Angina, But new one here you all, He ask how many albations I have had, I told him 3, he said OH my GOD WHY? So I'm now in 100% complete Heart Block, Pacer Depended.........I was also told that, his goal is to get my meds lower in the list of stuff they have put me on.I told him, they would never FIND the Cuz just add more meds...........He told me, that this is going to CHANGE as long as he is my cardiologist.....
Well, new one, his office called last nite, our area is not set up for the testing I need. so he is going to think hard and talk to my Cardio vascualar surgeon in Anchorage Alaska, and see what he thins is the next test that can be down.....
Oh Next week is Sparky's Check up and the Girl at the front desk, actually put in the book, Lisa bring Sparky the PM in for a Check up...............lolol Smilessssssssss
Now this is a real honest caring Doctor 's office.........
The doctor told my husband and I, I'm to young to be going thur this kind of heart stuff.........Oh my heart is hard and the flow of blood to the heart is slow also......One more thing, He heard a bit more then reported in the past on exams from others , that my Mitral val is leaking more.........I guess it wants to stay caught up with my Triscupid val........But he said we are doing oe thing at a time here nad and my Blood preesure is his main concern since No meds are getting it stable.........
Oh my Knee replacement is on HOLD for a while...........
I'll keep you posted, but its good news I finally have a REAL TRUE HEART CARDIOLOGIST........SO THERE IS A GOD WHO ANSWERS PRAYERS .
lOVE YA GUYS
P.S I got to get well, so sharon, lenora, valerie, jessie, and i and susan can take that Alaska Tour..........

Very Good News!!

Elisa, just when you needed a guardian angel here he is!!! The clues to this puzzle were there all along, it just took a fresh pair of eyes to put it all together, and a new doctor who didn't have any preconceived ideas about you. Left diagnostic dysfunction does indeed cause heart failure, and I am a living testament to that. But you've got all kinds of things going on. Variant angina, which is also called Prinzmetal's angina, is NOT caused by stress no matter what they have been telling you all these years. It's caused by coronary arterial spasm. People who have it usually also have coronary artery disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and may also have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. In diastolic heart failure the ejection fraction may be "okay," but that depends on how "okay" is defined. An EF of 55% or greater is normal, but some doctors define 40-45 as "low normal," as though you ought to feel okay with that. Mine is currently 40% and allows me to function, but if you take away the cardiac drugs and the lasix I can't breathe and my ankles soon resemble an elephant's! I think the renal arteriogram is definitely a good idea if your blood pressure is dangerously high and never under control. Don't know why they haven't looked at the possibility before. Sounds like you're finally getting the right care, and I am thrilled for you! Sometimes the right people enter your life's path just when you need them most. I hope all of us, Sharon, Jessie, Valerie, Susan, and you and I and whoever else wants to come can have a meetup someday. Keep me updated. Lots of love, Lenora

Hello My Friend, This is truly an answer to prayer. I am thrilled for you to have had this great experience with a "real doctor". How fortunate that you have survived what seems like very poor medical management from your former physicians. We can all be hopeful for you that this new cardiologist will get you squared away, although it may take time. Where did he come from and how did he end up in Alaska? This has got a be a huge relief and your husband. All of us are going to be really anxious to follow your progress and improved health. I am banking on it! I'm with Lenora - it would be great if some of us could get together. It is something we need to give some thought to when everyone is doing well. I would absolutely love it! Take good care of yourself and trust God to get you through all this. Blessings to you.
