I had one installed on 3-1-19. Everthing going good until I woke up today, 3-10, with a "baseball" under my skin. Went to emergency, like I was told and they said to call my surgeon on Mon. It has me a little nervious.

I had a similar experience but was still in hospital at the time. The pocket filled with fluid, thought first they thought it may be a bleed. My daughter was with me at the time and suddenly saw a bubble push at my skin from below. It just grew and grew while the ICU sister phoned the surgeon. He instructed them to put a pressure bandage over the site...damned uncomfortable and within 3 days it was back to normal.

I hope yours is a similarly easy fix!

I agree with Robin. Always call Dr.  They must return call!  Do not count on good care at ER!

Never hesitate to 'bother' your Dr., that's why they get the Big Bucks.  At the very least, you will 

get their Partner.
