St jude crtd

My previous crtd was a st judes. If everything is normal, my routine crtd checkuos are every 6 months where they also inform tabout the remaining battery life.

During the last stages, I had twitches around my chest and arm for about 2-3 weeks. And then I had a vibration from my crtd. It was just like a celluar phone on vibration. It vibrated twice every 10 hours. I realized that it was coming from my crtd after the second vibration as I thought the first one was coming from somebodyelses phone during a business meeting

Differentnt types have similiar alarms like a sound, vibration etc. And most importantly, do not miss your routine controls to have an appr. figure on the battery life

Depending on your PM model, there may be an audible or haptic alarm to warn you of battery depletion. If you have a remote interrogation monitor, using it will alert the PM manufacturer of the battery state. You should also be getting regular PM checkups, which will track battery usage and give plenty of warning.

I suggest going to the manufacturer's website and looking at low battery alerts on your model.  Interrogations should let you know the approximate length.

If you mean physical signs then there are absolutely none. As mentioned above devices will alert when they have reached ERI (Elective replacement indicatior). Function is only altered when EOS (end of service) and beyond is reached wherein the device will pave in a certain mode at a certain rate. There is approx 3-6 months between these two points. If you are having regular follow up then There is Nothing to worry about.

I was sitting at Starbucks drinking coffee with friends and my cell phone vibrated, no wait that happened in my chest.  Kind of cool!   With the model I had it is supposed to vibrate for 6 secs 3 times and repeat every 10 hrs 3xs.   I knew it wwas coming based on regular ICD checks.

Either use a home monitor device , I have a Merlin with st Jude, or at you check iOS you will be shown/ told.
