update and a 1/2

Hello Everyone,
This wednesday will be 6 months for my pm. Today I finished a half marathon without needing to stop. I happy with that since I had a chest cold that required my to leave a trail of. . .you know. Anyway, Thank you all for the encouragement. I hope to encourage others. Leading up to my PM my physical symptoms werent' all that severe compared to others. I got a dual lead pm for sss resulting in bradychardia. But the anxiety was tough and at the start of the race I was battling my thoughts and fears. I finally I got my mind off it and then it all went well.
Life after a pm is possible. Thank you, you are all friends
Rusty

Hi Rusty- that is just so wonderful to hear. Your words were such a comfort to me when I had gotten my PM a month ago. I am sure you are just beyond proud. I read your message earlier today and decided I was going to go for it. I have been just jogging and had worked my way up to 40 minutes but did 60 minutes today (my personal goal). I went slow but I did it. Thanks so much for your inspiration and keep up the great work!

Rusty pls provide details

Fantastic! thanks for posting. Could you pls expand a little about your problems and symptoms that led to the PM. I'm 63, lapsed runner with exercise induced SSD and brady contemplating a PM. Thanks

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.
