Syncope after AV node ablation
by jwilson - 2019-04-30 13:58:23
I got a AV node ablation in 2015 and a Pacemaker implated. Before ablation and PM I felt like I was going to faint a lot but never actually did. Since my AV node ablation and PM implant I have never felt faint or dizzy or had syncope or lightheaded. I am so thankful that I have felt great the past 4 years.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
Syncope

No, not syncope but I still have days (roughly one day a month) where I get wierd "dizzy" spells, several times during the day. I had them before and was really surprised when they continued. Surprised because the reason I got the PM was that I was having asystoles (the AV ablation was an add-on).
