Still here!

Annual check up.  I dont drop by very often nowadays but always make the effort to say hi after the annual check up.  Pacing 79% atriium, 39% ventricle.  Atrial fib only 1% of the time, this is really down from my early pacing years, and, I know the date and time and it was when I was extremely upset about something when I had a 1 hour episode.  Still swimming most days, 3 grandchildren now who  take up a lot of my time.  I feel really well and am living life to the full.  Hope everyone who knows me from the old days is doing ok.  Still got 2 years on battery, so that means it will have lasted 13 years, I'm pleased with that!  Some of you may remember Ihad a parathyroid tumour removed 8 years ago and this has caused osteo poroisis, however, I've been working hard and have somehow managed to reverse it from osteoporosis to osteopenia, so am happy with that.  I gave up bread in Jan and have lost 2 stone, I still look at the odd crust longingly, but now into size 10/12 so try to resist.  Hope you all have a good summer x

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
