But you're about due a post-implant first follow-up.

As a *guess* you need your PM tuned for you and your lifestyle.

But as you've not given us your age, activity level, max HR setting, etc. in your profile it's not easy for us to make sensible contributions.

Apologies for lack of information I am new to this! I am a 52 year old female with I would say medium activity level. I walk everyday and am busy with family and job, I received my pacemaker because of second degree heart block which i have been living with for the last few years to some degree undiagnosed until i passed out and holiter monitor picked it up!

I had my check last week and they said setting is at 60 because they want my own heart to pace as much as possible,  They are reluctant to change settings for the first few months, but the lightheaded and wozzy feeling is difficult to function with.  The pacemaker technican said pacemaker settings wouldnt cause dizziness?? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A pacemaker would have to be prety screwed up to cause problems as bad as you indicate.  A PM tech should be able to catch such a problem fairly easily (assuming this is constant or it happens when you're being seen).

Are you on any cardiac meds?  Many of these can cause these symptoms, also.  How is your blood pressure?  When sitting?  Standing?

I am also new to having a pacemaker - it was fitted 9 weeks ago for Mobitz Type 2 block, after I collapsed whilst loading heavy shopping into my car. I was light headed for the first six weeks, and noticed that my heart was still skipping beats occasionally. It seems to have settled down now, and every day feels better.  I wonder whether I may have had concussion, as I hit my head quite badly when I collapsed, but that wouldn't account for my heart missing beats.
