I recently had a pace maker implanted and I take metoprol ,xanax and ambien, I haven't noticed any illeffects . I'm not taking the meds to get a buzz. At my age(63) been there done that. The medications help. I'm hoping my doctor continues to give me my meds. They and my new pace maker have given me a new lease on life.
