Exercise after PM

I've walked for exercise for decades - never with any pain whatsoever.  Now, four days after PM implantation, I have chest pain when I walk for a very short distance.  WTH???

What sort of chest pain?

I walk a lot and had shoulder pain for a while.  I used a sling for walking, to take the stress off the shoulder for a week or so.  If your pain is "chest pain" (angina, or such), your cardiologist should know about it ASAP.

I had a lot of muscular discomfort for a while after my PM implantation

If it's possibly angina / cardiac-type chest pain, you should definitely get it checked out.

I walk regularly and was eager to get back to it after my PM was implanted.  My doctor told me to wait a week just because he didn't want my scar getting wet from sweat or anything like that.  I actually ended up waiting at least two weeks b/c I found I had so much discomfort when I walked.  It gradually has gone away -- or at least decreased unless I sleep on my shoulder wrong.  I'm not sure how normal this is, but I would guess it is.  (My PM was implanted pretty deep because it also has an ICD.)
