I am post 6 weeks after implant and at times heart flutters feels like skipped beats and I get a weak feeling. This happens when I ramp up my activity working in yard climbing stairs etc. perfectly fine in the morning and at night, seems to be tied to activity. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. Was wondering if it is just my body getting used to this device.

They send us home with settings that are a good guess, but it's common to need them fine tuned. If you are getting symptoms on exertion, that's often an indication the settings aren't quite right for you.

I am 3 months in and had exactly the same symptoms as you for the first 6 weeks, and occasionally get them now. I think it is just my body adjusting, but I'll mention it at my next checkup.

I had a pacemaker implant four weeks ago to address low heart rate and irregular heartbeat. During a follow up visit with my cardiologist after two weeks I told him I was having the same physical sensations I had been experiencing before the implant; that it felt like my heart was still skipping. He said that's common and said it was post operative ptsd. After the examination he said it might take up to six months for the sensation to go away, "...but you're fixed." Every day now I experience fewer skipping sensations.

I am no expert, but I believe that without the defibrillator that I have, I would be dead.

I had a lot of PVCs after exercising, at first. That's all but gone away. Did you have an arrhythmia before getting your PM? A pacemaker, alone, is unlikely to do anything to correct any arrhythmia.
