Many thanks

Don't like apple products

May be in the minority but I don't like apple products.  So don't know of an apple product that will help.  Do know that most of the devices aren't very accurate as far as heart rate goes.  Best I was able to do was to get on a treadmill and watch my heart rate there as they had the heart rate unit strapped to my chest.  Found out what it felt like and went from there.

Am thinking if you get an apple product and use that along with being on a treadmill with a bona-fide heart monitor that would give you the best results. Now how you're going to do that I don't know.  But it's an idea and you'll be able to see what the different monitors report.  I use a Fitbit but I don't pay any attention to the heart rate as it's inaccurate anyway.  The mileage numbers are fairly accurate as I've checked against known distances.

Main thing, of course, is to get out there and keep moving.

Not saying apple products aren't good - just saying I don't like 'em.  Kinda like the feelings people have between Ford, GM, Honda, and the others.

Hope your adjustment to your pacemaker goes well.

ICardio

I have used iCardio for years. Comprehensive app. You can set workout range settings with voice alerts when going from one range to another.

I am a cyclist and have app open on my iPhone and mounted on my handlebar. I visually track my heart rate. But the range settings would work well if you want to rely on a verbal alert.

You know you're wired when...

You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
