Be aware of the consequence of a fast heart rate over a period of time. It can cause a condition known as "TIC" - Tachycardia Induced Cardiomyopathy.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.

A pacemaker is only a gas petal. It can only make the heart go faster. It's not a brake. It cannot slow it down. It can't do a thing for most arrhythmias (because the increase the heart rate) either.
Your pacemaker was implanted to replace your AV node, evidently. It can't do anything for Afib. You'll have to manage that as usual. You do have the advantage that your doctors don't have to worry about the drugs lowering your heart rate.
