Hello Ellis1998, nice to meet you too.

Feeling spaced out and short of breath following a Reveal Linq ILR implant is not something we should expect.  These symptoms are most likely due to an arrhythmia or whatever is causing your blackouts.  The good news is that it will be recorded by your loop recorder.  Make sure that you press the patient assistant to record time, date of an event and make a note of your symptoms to correlate with whatever the loop recorder records.

If you are feeling to be in difficulty at any time, I would do an instant download so that your clinic can see immediately what is going on.

Did they not give you instructions about wound care ?  I would ring them and query.  I left mine covered for 48 hours and then kept it dry for about a week I recall.  Stitches were dissolvable.

they said I can shower two days later but regarding the dressing to change if it becomes bloody and it has so I changed it

Just a guess.  What sort of anesthetic did you have for the implant.  If it was a general (I can't imagine why), you may still be hung over from that.  Even an anesthetic that'll put you into twilight can affect some for a day or two.  I'd give it some time but Gemita is right.  Make sure you press the button and fill out the log (if they're doing that) for *any* strange feelings you have.  They can ignore the irrelevant ones but all of them should be highlighted so they don't miss any.  Better to error on the cautious side.

Wound care:  Be careful on infection.  It's not nearly as severe as a pacemaker but you don't want to go there anyway.  Make sure to keep the dressing clean (I'm surprised they allowed you to change it).

Hello I had local anesthetic  so the steristrips are bloody but I cannot change them but the plaster was also so I changed that I'm unsure what to do I also  think it is still bleeding

that way it will heal faster.  If the bleeding doesn't stop I would have a word with your doctors.  Sometimes they may need to put an extra dissolvable stitch in to hold the wound together or you may need to keep wound covered for longer to aid healing and prevent an infection.

The wound is dry it isnt moist or wet I'm going to contact my gp on monday if failing that then out of hours doctors
