This certainly depends on how long your battery has to go, how busy they are, and if they're even doing "elective surgery" at this point.  My guess is that if you have at least six months go go, they're not going to even think about touching you for three months.  If you're not PM dependent, maybe more.  This is not the time to go anywhere near a hospital if you can avoid it.

Call and ask what your situation/options are.

I thought I read something on a Kaiser site that said it can take up to 18 weeks to get a pacemaker. I know your just getting a new one but the timeline may be about the same. But with Coronavirus going on and the system being overwhelmed who knows !

Depends on your insurance (some require it to be at end of service rather than elective replacement), depends if it's elective replacement or end of service, depends on your doctor. Depends on what the hospital is doing now, many are not doing elective surgeries at this time and depending where you are it may be considered elective for now. I'm on my 5th. My soonest was 3 days after being notified it was time (was in the hospital for something else and asked them to please get it done before I was discharged). The longest was about 2 months.

My daughter (who received her pacemaker in January 2012 at age 27),  was been informed by her EP and clinic that her pacemaker is approaching its EOL. They've been watching it since last summer, and plan to replace it sometime soon after her June appointment with the EP this summer. They planned this during her January 2020 appointment, so I guess that will be a wait of around six months.
