Found this site when googling shoulder pain after implant.. My implant date was February 2020..  Much shoulder pain now, at times pretty significant.  Have arthritis in shoulder joint and at first that was the cause.  But it’s gotten most severe recently and location so near implant I began wondering if this was playing a part.Reading posts on this site reassured me this probable and not uncommon.    Glad I found you!  I’ll be staying in touch.

PT?

Glad you found us! Sounds like maybe some PT would help? Usually when the shoulder hurts from the pacer it's not the pacer but because we didn't use the arm enough. It might be time to get a professional to give you some stretches and help get the arm moving again.

My left arm hurt like h*** the first few weeks, because the vein to the arm was cut to run the leads to my heart. The arm side of the vein was capped, so the circulatory system in the arm has to pump blood back through other veins, stretching them out to make up for the severed vein. That hurts. PT and specific arm/shoulder exercises really helped. It was back to normal in 5-6 weeks.
