I've had a pacemaker since 2012 and for as long as I can remember I've felt a jolting sensation from it. It happens most hours at 8 minutes to the hour. I've mentioned this several times at the pacemaker clinic but they don't know what it is. It doesn't bother me although i would like to know if anyone has any ideas or if it happens to others.
Thanks

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
Shocking, just shocking

Do you mean "hospital" or "device clinic"? It would be unusual for anyone in the hospital to know anything about your pacemaker, other than you have one. You need someone who knows all the details of your device and they may have to call in the manufacturer's representative to get anywhere. These things are incredibly complicated with all sorts of options so one shouldn't expect anyone in the hospital to know much about them, including your EP/cardiologist.
