I wonder what the average bpm setting is. my setting is 60 bpm. Since the implant I have zero energy. Did anyone ever have the same problem?

Base rate setting

Mine is set to 60 bpm also. I think that is the general going rate for a new insertion. It is normal to feel very tired after surgery- along with the anxiety associated with a surgical procedure there is also tissue healing. All of this demands energy that has to come from somewhere. Tiredness tends to wane after a few weeks.
I think a gradual return to exercise is useful as it gets the metabolism working and helps with reassurance that the PM is functioning. Even a few days of doing nothing adversely affects fitness. A gradual return to fitness is better than trying to set goals - just go with the flow...

To even make a guess at your current situation, why you're here, and how to proceed, we need to know more about you. Why do you need your pacemaker? How did you feel before (changes)?
Your pacing mode is important, too. Anything that you can tell us about yourself would be good. It would also help to add this information to your profile.

Is 'rate response' on?
by LondonAndy - 2020-07-15 03:13:22
My base rate is also 60bpm, but if you haven't had a checkup since the surgery they may not have turned on the more advanced features such as Rate Response - this is where the device detects your activity and increases the BPM to suit.
