Pain and enlarged breast

Hello. I am 48 years old and had to have a PM in December last year. I have started noticing my breast appears to be larger and is tender. I thought I would ask if anyone else has that problem? I know it is also a sign of breast cancer, but before I jump to conclusions and freak myself out, I thought I would start with the group to see if anyone has had this issue. I do sleep on the left side and am just now getting use to the PM. Any help would be appreciated.

Please do check this out ASAP, if yiu haven't already! Some types of BC can grow very fast (I had a clean mammo in Nov, a nickel-sized lump in July). No such thing as a slly question, etc. And do keep us posted...

Hello guys. Happy to report that I had my diagnostic mammogram and all is clear. Praising God! I guess the enlarged breast is just a new thing and the discomfort is something I have to get used to.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
swelling

Is the swelling new or has it been that way since your surgery? I had swelling after a replacement, but it didn't appear later, it just never went away after the surgery. A heating pad took care of it, it was just fluid. If it's new, you need a mammo asap! Don't assume it's the pacer. Even if it is the pacer, you need a mammo asap to rule out anything else.
