Popping my neck with newly implanted pacemaker

I just had my Pacemaker placed last Thursday. I've been very careful about not raising or stretching my arm. However, I just popped my neck and instantly panicked. I never asked the Dr. or nurses if I could do that. I'm worried I may have compromised a lead. I can't find anything written about this. Has anyone been told not to do that while they're still under restrictions. I feel so silly asking this but I'm so nervous about breaking or dislodging a lead.

Pardon me for being dense: please translate 'popped my neck' into English.

If you have modern actively fixed leads and your EP doc chose the correct length for you, and they were correctly fixed at implantation time, it's almost impossible for you to dislodge them yourself by moving your body around.

It's even more difficult for you to break or damage a lead: most lead damage is the result of years of movement, or compression under the clavicle, or damage by EP docs doing other things (e.g. adding another lead).  Leads do sometimes fail after years of use and being flexed.

Unless you have good evidence that you're no longer being paced correctly (feeling a good, strong pulse - neck or groin - and counting pulses for 30s or more, no relying on gadgets) then you can relax.

There is nothing that you can do with your neck that will affect your pacemaker. Tie it in knots and your pacemaker will still work. The leads aren't in the neck.

If you feel fine you are fine. Pay attention to how you feel. Your gut will help you. I'd say your ok. Hugs

Pop your neck? It makes such an awful sound!  I questioned if the pacemaker could move from its implanted position. Aside from a trauma to the area, I was told no. I was also told that its sewn (how I don't know) into position. I'm five months with my Azure XT and after one month I went back to all my crazy stuff.
