My aunt, who did develop an infection after a PM implant, and who was 99 yrs. of age, did pass away at 1:30 am yesterday morning. Thank you for your concerns and prayers. I will not be able to attend the service as she lived in Minnesota.
Again, thanks to all

Hi Sharon - Home for me was Pipestone, Minnesota, a small farming town 20 miles south into Iowa and 15 miles west to South Dakota. I have many relatives including my sister that live in MN. The last visit I had with my aunt was 2003 and yes, sh did have many stories to tell about my fathers' side of the family which I cherish. We are from the Scandanavian mid-western stock!!!

no matter how old it is still difficult when we love someone and lose them. my aunt lived till 102 she was never married and lived in montreal with her sister and she worked for electrolux. she hailed from the ottawa valley where a lot of germans and irish settled from europe. her name was mary doyle. she was so kind i never met a kinder lady. she was my grandfather's siter. so i send my condolences and because they take with them a lot of info noone else has it is doubly hard. my parents were both gone by the time aunt mary died. so god bless you for trying to help her. she must have felt good about that. kind regards jessie

Hi Sharon - Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing your aunt. I know it is difficult to not be able to attend the service but she would understand. I have no idea what your beliefs are but I will ask the Lord to comfort you and give you peace as your grieve for your aunt who was very dear to you. For her to have reached 99 is just incredible. Could it be the strong, sturdy mid-western stock? She must have had some stories to tell with that many years of life. Please know that your Pacemaker family is here for you to share your grief and support you. Take care and God bless and comfort you.
Sharon
