What was the estimated remaining battery life at your last PM check ?

Mine is in its tenth year ... some last less, some last more. I doubt that your PM check would have been cancelled if its end of life was imminent.

Why was it cancelled? I ask every visit what's left in the battery but when it gets down to the last year, they've always told me. When it gets to the last 6 months, I go more often. Do you have a home monitor? If so, that will tell them all they need but you can call and ask what your estimated time left is. My current one is 5 years old but still has 8-10 left on it. This is my 5th.

Battery Life

I am onto my 4th device over 19 years and all but one was replaced due to battery end of life.

One of my devices started beeping at me and on alerting my Dr he replaced it within a week.

The other two got down to like one month of life left. It seems there is always a margin for error in the patient's favour.

Over the 19 years I have had many appointments postponed for various reasons.

do you have a home monitor next to your bed?

when was the last time you had your device checked?

you should be fine, most devices now last 10 years depending on what model / company device you have I could tell you about a guesstimate of that device longevity.

regardless I wouldn't worry about it but just try to reschedule the appointment soon.
