Keep an eye out for oozing, fever, streaks or any other signs of fever. Are you icing? If the swelling is new and not going away, can't hurt to have them take a peek. Better safe than sorry.

I had residual swelling after one of my replacements. Nurse said it was fluid, 10 minutes with a heating pad on low and it was gone. But don't use a heating pad 10 days out! This was weeks later, I mentioned it at my next check.

Definitely you should have that checked out. When I had my second PM inplant, it a couple weeks, I had swelling and oozing and it turned out to be an infection.
