I have previously been told I have 1.7 difference in the leads, can someone please explain what 1.7 represents please?

I consumed 71/2 years of expected battery life in the first eight weeks after implant. I was deverstated. I was given conflicting reasons for this over the next few visits to the cardiologists, each one gave a different reason.

You don't say much about yourself or your pacemaker but from what little you've said, I assume the difference is the "capture" voltage. This is the voltage to the heart that causes the muscle to contract. You have one lead that takes more than the other, for some reason. There was a discussion about this here a few days ago.
