Electrophysiologist is a jerk who gave no information

Please research your electrophysiologist before your implantation surgery. I did not - just went with available doctor - due to COVID concerns. His implantation job has my PM jutting deeply into my armpit - plus had lead dislodgment reimplantation surgery a month after my first PM put in August. Then he yelled at me and shook his fist in my face in front of hub when I questioned him. Urrrggggh. Angry.

My EP tells me the EPs should be members of the Heart Rhythm Society so they stay up to date with medical information.

Poor medical care

by Selwyn - 2020-10-20 13:38:52

What a terrible experience. How can such a rude and incompetant person practice medicine?

My own feelings would be a complaints procedure ( here in UK, NHS we have such) .  For really bad doctors we have the General Medical Council where various restrictions can take place on a doctor, or retraining, or removal from practicing medicine.

I have no idea what happens in the States. It should be something of a morale duty to protect others from such practitioners.

Dr

Reminds me of a member sometime back who complained and denigrated every doctor she saw. One day she came here whining about the fact no dr would accept her as a patient.
