Good news Lizzie

I hope mine will be as long lasting.  I seem to be a very heavy user.  But yours is certainly giving value for money.  May I ask what your minimum heart rate is set at?  Do you have dual pacing?  Rate Response On?

Somehow I do fear my battery running down and getting all the symptoms I originally had pre pacemaker and hope that my team will not leave me for too long with a low battery.  I understand that pacemakers are  programmed to conserve battery when they start to show battery decline so that we never lose complete support.  My Medtronic will automatically reduce my heart rate, stop rate response and there will be a loss of AV synchrony, so sounds like an uncomfortable period before a battery change.

Thank you for sharing Lizzie

I had a SJM Zephyr also. I killed mine way faster than that.

Gemita, I'm on #5 and they've never let me get to the point where I have reduced pacing. I've always had it changed out before that  happened.

Time for a grease and oil change.

Sorry haven't pisted in a while.
Ok. Went for check today and the time has come for a renewal. I have got rather attached to my Metal Mickey. Looks like next week or so, I get a new mate. thanks for all the support since 2009, looking forward to at least the same time again.

cheers
