I had my 2 leed Metronic Pacemaker installed in July. We are currently in the midst of a snow storm. I'm 63 in good shape. Will shoveling be ok to do?

It's a good test of cardiovascular fitness

Even with the right kit (nice light snow-shovel), this can be hard work, and a recognised cause of serious cardiac events in folk who aren't as healthy as they had thought.
But simply having a recent PM shouldn't be an issue. Just don't try to out-shovel your 18year old neighbour.... A lot depends on why you ended up with a PM. The range of heart-health conditions amongst the contributors here covers everything from CCHB (competely healthy heart muscle) to serious, progressive cardiomyopathies with major SCD risks on exercise. My uncle died at 26 sitting at a desk, a SCD due to congenital heart disease (not hereditary).
If you settle into a good rhythm and don't go mad it should be less stressful than a Bruce Protocol treadmill test and a lot more satisfying.
Hire somebody?

I don't know about you, but I've got nowhere I gotta be, so the snow is going uncleared for now (mid Atlantic, so likely less accumulation than you may have if it's still snowing). It can be fun to get out and do the shoveling, but maybe just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the snow, and let somebody else clear it for you as needed?

We left Vermont largely because of the employment possibilities but also the weather. It was no place that I was going to retire. We've been talking with the"kid" (41 YO) over the past few days. They just had 32" of that crap. I told him that he could have it and that he could move too. ;-)

But if you want to use the pacer as an excuse, we won't tell your family.
