Good day, wini - can you explain what you mean by power plate? Not familiar w that term.

I believe Wini means Platts, an exercise program.

No, aftet the healing period there are very, very, few things that you can do with your body that will hurt your pacemaker, without absolutely shredding your body. Because everyone is different, your EP may have specific things that you shouldn't do but pilates won't be one of them.

Wini, I have used a power plate at my gym before I had my pacemaker. I am not sure how safe it would be. Perhaps standing on it or lunges would be all right but not push ups with your chest facing the vibrating plate.

Best to ask an EP. Once the gyms reopen after lockdown I will do the same!

There are a few conflicting articles online about it.

Sorry, I'd never heard of it before (thought it was Pilates, but typing on my phone isn't so great).  It doesn't change my statement in any way.  There are very few things we can't do, in general, but ask your EP anyway.

There are only a few "sports" or exercise related problems that I can think of, right now.  Scales that calculate body fat can be dangerous.  Don't use them.  TENS units, likewise.  Skin diving below some threshold, often 6M, is a no-no.  If this matters, look up the maximum depth of your PM.  Contact sports aren't advisable for the obvious reasons. You shold ask your EP if you have are any other restrictions.  They change from person to person.
