Are you doing anything new to aggravate the scar tissue? Sleeping differently, new exercise? Usually when mine has become sore, I've been able to trace it back to something I did. 

Watch for any signs of infection- red streaks, swelling, oozing, fever. If you see any other signs with the soreness, give your doctor a call and ask for cultures. If it's infected, it's important to be proactive and aggressive.

Pain over PM

hi all. I've had my PM for a year now and still have on touch and a numbness over the Pm. my EP thats common and the pain can persist for a while. Makes sleeping a bit difficult as I have my PM on the right side. I do use a towel against my PM and that seems to make me more comfortable. any comments would be appretiated. By the way I still do get irregular beats now and then. is this normal?

Had my PM now for just over 3 years, sometimes sore at the top of the unit, can see a wire out of the top which protudes under the skin. still having palpitations and breathless especially having climbed stairs. At the moment a small swelling has appeared also at top.Just getting over covid infection, darent go antwhere at the moment due to coved. I dont like complaining as the answer is usually thigs are normal. Have posted in this site before used 7 years  6 months of battery power in the first 8 weeks, PM turned to prelong battery life. Still get dizzy spells and breathlessnes.
