Question about magnets

Hi there. Does anyone know if the new kitchen faucets from Delta that feature "Magna Tite" technology are safe for pacemaker patients? The Delta website states that it uses a "powerful integrated magnet" to keep the faucet sprayer head in place. I can't find any other info about the technology online. Thanks.

Industrial magnets are the main problem, not usually household strength. Even if it's big enough to cause a problem, I doubt it would be an issue because it's not like you'd be getting your chest up against the faucet. Most magnets only cause problems if less than 6" from your device.

You know you're wired when...

You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
