Understanding Pacemaker Reorts

Can anyone tell me what is the significance of AS-VS?  I know that it stands for Atrial Sensing-Ventricular Sensing, and the meaning of Sensing seems pretty clear, if it's the common english meaning of the word. But is it as simple as it seems, and shldn't Atrial Sensing and Ventricular Sensing be two different figs? I want to confirm if it means an event that triggers PM action, as in P-Pacing?

Sensing and pacing have to add to 100%. So saying that AS=30%  is saying the same thing as AP=70%.

IF AP is a large numbering indicates SSS or similar. A high VP indicates a heart block.

atrial sensing refers to the atrial lead. Ventricular sensing refers to the ventricular lead. If they are both sensing at the same time, that  means your heart is working on its own at that time and neither lead is pacing.
