Hopefully you will see this message.  I have received so many private messages from members wanting to know how you are and hoping that you stay safe while you wait for a new heart.  No need to respond but we want you to know that we are thinking about you and wishing you well.  You know where we are if you need any support.  We send you lots of strength while you wait for surgery.

First of all I am doing well.  Still no heart, but I am not longer listed for transplant.  In an unexpected change of events I was removed from my status 4 to a 6 then 3 months later completely removed from the transplant list.  After a move to a new transplant center I was able to wean off milrinone to everyone's surprise.  3 months later a little surprise came along, and since pregnancy and open heart surgery don't mix I was removed from the list.  My pregnancy went surprisingly well, managed by the advanced HF team, who anxiously waited a turn for the worst which never came.  Now we are hoping to do a valve in valve on my mitral to save the transplant for hopefully a day many years in the future.
