Electric bikes

Wondering if electric bikes are safe for our devices?  I've read that electric cars are, but the battery packs for the bikes are out on the open and have to be charged by standing by them.  Please help, don't want to invest the big bucks if I can't use.

Batteries are never a problem. Motors and charging systems MAY be. In this case, the motor is so small and far enough away from your pacemaker that interference is highly unlikely.
