Biotronik pacemaker monitor

Hi everyone,

I'm monitored every night and so is the data being sent when I have about 30 seconds sensation of slightly elevated and thumping heart beats?
If so then this is getting slightly earlier every night and at this rate in a few months time it'll be happening when I'm not even in bed 🥴

Self test

More than likely you are experiencing the PM's self-test.  I noticed this often for the first several years, but actually have pretty much stopped noticing it in recent months, so I suppose I've become accustomed to it.  And if you're in the US, wait to see what Daylight Savings Time does for the timing - will it change by one hour for you or get adjusted to DST so you're getting it at the "same time"?  My PM's clock was not adjusted for DST, so when DST kicked in, I had the earlier or later self-test time, depending on the season.

You could ask if there is a setting adjustment that could be done so the test occurs while you're likely sleeping.

I assume that results of the seff-test do in fact get transmitted, but don't believe that the transmission itself would be "feelable".

DST

I have the night mode (80bpm day, 50bpm night) and DST can be a problem.  I have my RR set to ramp very quickly so it's not that much of a problem anymore but it does make a difference.  But it's not only DST.  Try flying across the countery or, even worse, intercontenental.  If you think jetlag is a thing...

You know you're wired when...

You know the difference between hardware and software.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
