TRAVEL WITH A PACEMAKER

Just celebrated my second anniversary since having my pace maker installed. Had a recent checkup and was told my battery was good for eight more years. After receiving my pacemaker I decided to live ever day like it was my last.

I recently traveled across the coutry to the southwest and it's many natural wonders and national park. I decided to video my adventure and post it on YouTube, I wanted to get out as many handicapped and senior citizens who felt there active lives are over, to see the wonders of the U.S.A, I hope I can motivate some of you to get out and live your life to the fullest.

I've posted my videos on YouTube/ Search: TheWowFactor/EdandAnne

Hello,

Love to hear it! Will definitely check out your YT page. I too am trying to adopt the mantra of living every day as if it were my last. Easier said than done, but I'm doing my best.

Thank you for posting and sharing your updates -- makes me feel better reading this and knowing that it can be normal to have a PM. Dealing with quite a bit right now that is making me feel everything but normal.

Take care and I hope that your journey continues and is full of adventure and excitement.

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
