Hi everyone,
I'm still swollen like a golf ball where my device is at. Been over a month now...
But I'm concerned now about the numbess where I am swollen. Will this eventually go away after the swelling goes down? Or am I stuck with this numbness?
Anyone with similar experience, please share!

Nerve interference

Swelling can lean on a nerve causing numbness. Having worked in dentistry, I know that's happened in the mouth.
Press your doctor-I'm wondering if a steroid injection would help like what they give in a knee (or like in my ankle) to reduce swelling. Hey what do I know-no medical background-but just wondering.
Numbness

Yes, this is fairly normal but that doesn't mean it's not worth checking. If it drops your anxiety level, it's worth checking for that reason alone.
Swelling lasting a month or more is pretty normal. Numbness is also fairly normal, as is any number of other sensations. A lot of nerves have been disturbed or cut during your surgery. It's going to take a while for all of this to stitch itself all back together. Nerves can take a long time. In the meantime sensations such as numbness, stabbing pain, itching, "ant bites", are all normal. I don't know but I imagine that sub-pec surgery would be worse than sub-Q just because there is more tissue damage.

Your post is a bit vague and rather than guess let me share my experience. I had swelling at the incision from day 1, howdver After a month my device site swelled like a golf ball. It was a raging infection that cost me 6 months of my life...I'd get it checked

Trust me, I am quite concerned about my situtation...Its been a month and the swelling has not gone down, not even a little. Told the doctor this and I was told it's normal and to give it 6 weeks. 2 more weeks to go, I doubt it will suddenly go down. I'm debating to go in sooner to see them...The numbness was there since day 1 with the swelling, it is not new. Just worried it may not go away since its been a month and no improvement.
ROBO POP : How did they find your infection? I don't think I have one since I don't have a fever or feel sick.

I had no symptoms other than swelling. Then it got a bit tender and a tiny pimple manifest at the end of the incision. I drove to ER and they admitted me. That night my pocket exploded and blew ugly all over my shoulder. I still have a deep divot where the device once roosted. It's now moved to the opposite side
Healing Pacemaker Incisions

I understand you concern and it's good that you are staying alert to it.
You don't say how extensive the numbness is. Do be aware that inevitably nerves in the skin and just beneath it are cut during implanation of the pacemaker and they will take a while to regenerate.
How long to regererate? Hard to say, but some people report that for some months up to a year post-pacemaker they will have little stinging, itching, crawling, or "ant-bite" sensations in the area as the nerves regrow.
About the swellling. People are real different in how much they swell. Me, I'm a sweller. You should have seen my arm after surgery for a trapped nerve, and sometimes the swelling goes down very slowly. It took close to a year for the swelling around the pacemaker do go down completely. I was surprised to see how small the pacemaker itself really is.
A pimple is a sign of pus under the skin. If you have no redness, fever, "pimple", pus, drainage in the area, if you have no malaise, it's probably not time to hit the panic button. If you do have any of those things, it is time.

Numbness at location of swelling

VII, did you ever go back for further checks? Perhaps an ultrasound of the area? I would definitely ask for help now, especially with the new symptom of numbness.
I have experienced numbness with inflammation and swelling and this can be a normal reaction that should ease and largely disappear as the swelling reduces, at least it did for me. However, in view of your history and lack of any real resolve, I would not be happy to leave well alone anymore. It sounds as though you need help from a professional.
What are your doctors saying about this? Have they given any advice?
