OK, this is the reason I logged on tonight. It has not been a good day. Maybe some one can help. There was a death in the family .He was only 65. He had Crohn's disease, diabetic and had lost one leg to that and heart disease. What I need answers about are my husband's and I best friend for about 25 years is a diabetic and has been on dialysis for about 10 years. He was told he needed a kidney transplant but said no to being put on the list. He since has had by-pass surgery and has been doing dialysis at home till about 8 yrs ago the site around his waist got infected when he was fishing. Almost died from this, He has had it moved to his left arm and then move up on his left arm again to do dialysis. The problem is now his heart is weak and the doctors say he needs a pacemaker but they can't put it in the left side because of the dialysis and they can't put it in the right side because because it has calcified. The only other place to go in through is his groin. The problem with that is this dialysis site goes bad he is only left with doing it through the groin. He has to have the pacemaker to even have a chance. He is 51 yr old with 3 daughters and 1 grandson. I have done research and can't find another way possible to get the PM. He is between a rock and a hard place. I need some answers and the faster the better. Thank so much. Please pray for my family and his.
God bless you,
Amy

Hi Amy.
If you go to the Cleveland Clinic site,
clevelandclinic.org/contact/ Click on health and disease information, and you'll see a window, where you can click on and ask a health question live from 10am-10:30pm
M-F.
I hope that helps you.
~ Dominique ~
Thank you!

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
