?????????

Where have all the regulars gone? Just would like you to know that you are missed very much. Feel like I lost part of my family. You did so much for me and many others. Probably more than you know. I am sure if you are reading this you know who you are. Come back! Please! Don't make me beg.LOL

God bless you,

Amy

Regulars

by auntiesamm - 2008-03-08 02:03:17

Hi Amy,

If I am one of the "regulars" you asked about I will tell you why I am not on often. First, my husband has been very ill since last August and I care for him at home. It doesn't leave a whole lot of time for me to do these extracurricular things. He is doing okay and the last couple of weeks I have logged on more often. A while back there was a disagreement or???? with Elisa. I got in on the tail end of it and never really understood what happened but I was discouraged that there was so much animosity amongst everyone so I "stayed away" for a while. More recently the joke Smitty posted had several people is such a twit and as I read the I was appalled at the tenor of the posts which I viewed as somewhat immature. Smitty has been a friend since the first day I logged on almost 2 years ago. As much as I have loved being a part of this PM family I have had little interest in participating with people who could drive away this wonderful man over this joke, which to me was harmless. I am a 67 y/o grandma and was not offended for even a moment. In fact I read it to my husband and we both had a good laugh. A laugh is good medicine for whatever ails you and we needed a laugh! Smitty will be sorely missed and I am sure there will be a few people who will regret they truly turned a mole hill into a mountain. But thank you for inquiring about the "oldies". We're still out here. I think too, Amy, that those of us who have PMs without any problems, don't need support, etc. don't feel the need to join in as often. I do like to check up on my friends though. Take care and God bless you.

Sharon, I hope your husband feels better. I so appreciate you explaining . You were one of them on my mind. I understand what you are saying. But I miss the everyday things going on. That in inself made me not think of my problems. I guess that was a support system /family in more ways than just having a pacemaker. Glad to hear from you.
Thoughts and prayers are with you and you hubby,
Amy

Wondering too....

by sweetkozy - 2008-03-09 03:03:20

I didn't log on for awhile and then when I start logging on again I noticed that I don't recognize anyone now. I am talking in only a matter of 3 weeks. Where did they go! I love all the new people too, but I also miss the ole one's!!!!!!
I really must have missed a lot in those 3 weeks.

Cheers:)
Jenny

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
