Hello.
I'm looking at having my pacekmaker(which is my second and was put in last August)reimplanted under the muscle. The one I have now has been poorly fitted, very bulky, very wirey and it appears as though scar tissue has adhesions and rubs on the wires. I'd like to hear from people who have theirs under muscle......recovery time, complications etc.Thank you.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!

My second pm was placed sub pectoral. I had quite a bit of swelling which is to be expected. I took it easy until the swelling went down, which was a couple of weeks. I never had any problems.
