Can you take ibuprofen with a pacemaker?

Being paced, alone, isn't a reason not to use ibuprofen. It's highly discourraged for a number of heart conditions and is not to be taken with any sort of a anticoagulant, though my cardiologist said it was OK for one or two days tops. When I need it, two pills is enough. Ibuprofen is my magic pill.  90% of the time, a single two-pill dose will end the pain.  The other 10% of the time, nothing is going to help.

Even for people with no heart problems, ibuprofen isn't a perfectly safe drug.  Its use should be limited.

Just wondering why would you want to take Ibuorofen. I would avoid Ibuprofen at all cost because of it's adverse effects on the GI and Kidneys and to some extent on the heart. Also, if you are on antithrombotics your bleeding risks are too high!

Also, in general if you have, peptic ulcer dz, reflux, Diabetes or high blood pressure, you should try to avoid it. This includes even the topical anti inflammatory ointments.

Rch, I take it because tylenol does nothing for me, aspirin upsets my stomach and I'm allergic to naproxen. That leaves ibuprofen. I know it's not good for me and avoid it as much as possible, but I'm out of options so it's my go-to when I can't avoid it any longer. 

Butterfly, as the others said, it's not really good for anyone with a heart condition, however having a pacer is not a reason to avoid it. There are no meds that will affect the pacer.
