Cold Feet

I have always suffered from cold feet at nights. When I got my pacemaker my problem seemed to get worse. The problem of being cold gradually crept up my legs to my knees. I have also noticed that my left leg is actually 2cm bigger around than my right. I wonder if this is anything to do with my pacmaker if the lower setting is now too low to cope. lowest rate is 50bpm. Just a thought. Or is it the GO disease (getting old.) Cheers Billie

Hi Billie,
I really hope you get your leg checked out! It could be so many things from a clot to a blockage, or even your thyroid. I have had a serious SVC blockage that needed surgery and I now have another blockage that is causing my left arm to swell and get bigger. At any rate, I encourage you to get this checked out, even if it eases your mind! Take care,
Bambi

are you on a beta blocker or a BP med like norvasc? atenolol?

side affects are cold extremities and swelling of the extremities. if so, the dosage just needs to be lowered.
