Anyone have a heart catharazation with a pacemaker? I'm worried about that having the leads in my heart.

I just trry and stay positive. I should have died three times and survived the widowmaker and im only 59 years old.
I just take my cardiologist advice. I know that I am on borrowed time. I got the devices because my heart is weak -arrythmias and more importantly my ejection fracture is only 27.
I am in pain but focus on gratitude.
Heart catheterisation with a pacemaker

Jae, Heart disease doesn’t stop and some of us will need heart catheterization with a pacemaker during our lifetime. Heart catheterization is the gold standard imaging to diagnose a blockage or to look more closely at an artery and to carry out life saving treatment if it is needed. My husband (85) has had a heart catheterisation with his single lead pacemaker without any problems.
Welcome to the Club Bonustimeonearth. My husband also survived his widowmaker artery blockage (the left anterior descending artery). He got timely treatment with two stents. Focussing on gratitude will take you a long way and perhaps your strength of mind and desire to live a fulfilling life despite your many difficulties, will work in your favour. I wish you nothing but the best.
Jae, good luck with the heart catheterization and please let us know how it goes.
Heart Catheter and pacemakers

It matters not having a pacemaker and leads when doing cadiac catheterisations . It is not uncommon. Personally, I have had angiograms of my coronary arteries and two ablations for atrial fibrillation - all needing catheters, sometimes for some hours whilst my pacemaker continues to function.
You have nothing to be concerned about from a medical point of view. In fact, watching the screen and seeing you own heart working is quite interesting. I particularly enjoyed seeing a stent catheter being threaded into my coronary artery and its placement. It is like having a new lease of life.

I haven't had one, but they do them with pacers all the time. They can see the leads the whole time.
